The Premier Saxophone Quartet was founded in 2005 with the financial assistance of the School of Music and Dance at San Jose State University where they are Artists-in-Residence. The members are Dale Wolford (soprano), Professor of saxophone at San Jose State University; Kevin Stewart (alto), Dominican College and performer with the San Francisco Symphony; David Henderson (tenor), University of the Pacifc and performer with the San Francisco Symphony; and Aaron Lington (baritone), director of jazz studies at San Jose State University.
